Pearl River Delta (China) Relax during a 76-minute high-speed ferry ride up the Pearl River to Nansha. Visit Minzhong Commune and explore its open-air free market. Visit Tsui Hang Village in Zhongshan and the Cultural Theme Village. Lunch at the Zhongshan Hot Springs Resort.
Macau Only an hour from Hong Kong by jetfoil, Macau is the oldest settlement of European origin on the South China coast. Its 'Latin Orient' feel provides an interesting contrast to Hong Kong and makes for an enjoyable day of sightseeing, shopping and gambling.
